Yoga Instructor

Tria Yoga is looking to hire a group yoga class instructor for two classes per week. Applications must have a 200-hour certification in a Krishnamacharya lineage and at least two years of regular yoga teaching experience.

Tria Yoga is a safe and welcoming space for all individuals. We offer a variety of class types and levels, making yoga an accessible practice to our diverse clientele. Classes at Tria Yoga honor the roots of yoga and include more than asana instruction. Classes should include safe, thoughtful sequencing, and instructors must feel comfortable modifying for medical issues, injuries, and pregnancies in a room of up to 28 students. 

Job Responsibilities

In addition to class instruction, job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Be knowledgeable about class and pricing options. 

  • Assist new clients with registration and offer tours of the space.

  • Check students in for classes, appointments, and events using Walla software.

  • Check out guests with retail purchases or class/membership purchases.

  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely data in all appropriate systems.

  • Tidy the studio and dry mop the floors after each class. 

  • Follow and uphold the Employee Handbook and other guidelines.

Studio + Shop Associate

We’re seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Studio + Shop Associate to support studio operations and help create an exceptional experience for every student and guest.

This position begins at 5 hours per week on Saturdays from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, with one Saturday off per month. Additional hours may be available for special events or studio needs, with potential for growth into a larger role over time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail or sales experience

  • Passion for yoga and the ability to speak to the benefits of what we offer

  • Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills

  • Fluent in English with excellent in-person, phone, and email communication

  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment and using slower moments productively

  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn Walla (booking system) and Google Sheets

Job Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet students and customers warmly and create a welcoming environment

  • Provide knowledgeable support about classes, memberships, workshops, and retail products

  • Assist in nurturing prospective members, supporting new membership sales, and helping retain current students

  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally

  • Process retail, class, and membership sales

  • Maintain accurate data and notes in studio systems

  • Keep the studio and shop clean and organized (tidying retail displays, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning mats and props, etc.)

  • Assist with inventory tasks such as entering products into the POS system, tagging items, printing barcode labels, and merchandising displays

  • Support occasional studio events and community activities

  • Follow and uphold policies outlined in the Employee Handbook

  • Assist the Studio Owner with additional projects as needed
