Studio Policies & Student Code of Conduct

Tria Yoga is a safe and welcoming space for all individuals, regardless of race, color, religion, culture, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, body type, disability, or citizenship. We ask that students practice all aspects of yoga, including the Yamas and Niyamas (the ethical principles of yoga): non-harming, truthfulness, non-stealing, moderation, non-possessiveness, cleanliness, contentment, discipline, self-study, and surrender.

As of March 1, 2022, masks are recommended, but no longer required at Tria Yoga. This policy is subject to change.

  1. Pre-register for classes through the website (triayoga.com/classes) or the Walla app. There may not be space for walk-ins to be accommodated. If you are unable to make it to class, please remove your registration to allow another student to join. If there are no sign-ups an hour before the start time, class may be cancelled.

  2. Studio doors open 15 minutes before the class is scheduled to start. Classes begin promptly on time and pre-registered late arrivals of more than three minutes will not be admitted. Please only attend the classes that you are able to commit to the entire duration of.

  3. Bring as little into the studio as possible. Belongings can be stored on the coat and shoe racks in the lounge and on the shelf space in the studio. Shoes should be removed before entering the practice area. Tria Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

  4. Refrain from using your cellphone inside the studio. Make sure cell phones are turned off or muted if they are brought into the building. Please let your instructor know if you are expecting an important call and need to have your phone nearby.

  5. Be mindful of voice levels in the studio. Some students use the time before class starts for quiet reflection. You’re welcome to sit in the lounge to converse quietly before or after class.

  6. Disruptive behavior is not welcome. This includes speaking loudly during class, checking your phone/texts, taking unauthorized photographs, or eating in class.

  7. Practice saucha, cleanliness, by coming to classes clean and free of odor, including strong perfumes, essential oils, or other scents.

  8. Please bring your own yoga mat to the studio. Manduka eKO Lite mats are available to rent for $2 cash per visit. Props (blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps) are available to borrow from the studio free of charge. Students are responsible for putting props back on the shelf as neatly as possible.

  9. Tria Yoga offers a variety of class styles and levels. If you have any questions about the pace of a certain class, please contact the studio. Practice ahimsa, non-harming, by practicing at the appropriate level, informing your instructor of any relevant injuries or conditions, and resting when you need to rest.

  10. Classes at Tria Yoga are currently only for ages 18+.

  11. Purchases for classes, services, appointments, enrollments, and gift cards are nonrefundable. Unworn/unopened/unused merchandise may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a receipt for a refund to the original form of payment.

  12. We have the right to refuse service to anyone who does not treat our staff, instructors, studio, and other students with kindness and respect.
