Frequently Asked Questions

New to Yoga

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily and freely. Yoga is typically practiced in bare feet, without socks or shoes. For restorative yoga and meditation, you may wish to bring an extra layer and socks.

  • Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle for group yoga classes. If you do not have a mat, you can rent a Manduka eKO Lite yoga mat from the studio for $2 cash per visit. Props are provided by the studio.

  • It is recommended that you eat at least two hours before practicing yoga. If you need a small snack, eat something light thirty to sixty minutes beforehand.

  • You can find descriptions of each class on the Yoga Classes page. Some of the classes are offered in levels, so be sure to check the schedule carefully when booking your class.

Group Yoga Classes

  • Yes, we ask that all students use the online system (Walla) to pre-register for classes. Space in the studio is limited and walk-ins may not be able to be accommodated. Visit triayoga.com/classes and choose a class to sign up.

  • Most students find it’s easiest to sign up for a week or two of classes in advance to set their upcoming schedule. You are eligible to sign up for classes 45 days in advance.

  • The waitlist means that class is currently full. Keep an eye on your email, because if a spot opens up, you will receive a notification at least two hours beforehand. If you do not receive an email that you were promoted to the waitlist, then the class remains full.

  • You can cancel your group class registration by logging into your account through Walla. Please cancel classes with enough notice to allow others from the waitlist to join in. Students must cancel a minimum of two hours before the start of a class to avoid penalty.

  • Arriving early before class can help you settle in and prepare yourself to be present for your practice. For group yoga classes, doors open 15 minutes before class begins. If this is your first visit to the studio, please arrive at least ten minutes before class to get a quick tour of the space. Late entries to group classes are not permitted.

  • Please bring your own yoga mat for group yoga classes. If you do not have a mat, you can rent a Manduka eKO Lite yoga mat from the studio for $2 cash per visit. Props are provided by the studio.

  • Yes, group yoga classes are currently only for adults ages 18+.

If you think that might be the case, please reach out and a staff member can assist you in merging your accounts.
